Why?
Just because. I had been itching to see the garment district and yarn shops thinking it would have the same feeling as before. This trip was rather spur of the moment when my mom told me she was going. I hemmed and hawed but finally remembered that going to NY was one of my 101 in 1001 so off I went. The trip brought a bit of reality to be romanticized view on NY. As much as it is fun to visit especially with my mom. I can now take it off my repeat visit list.
